The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it will survey criteria for selecting communities for its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board's Head of Media and Information, revealed this in a phone meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Lagos.

Benjamin recognized that there were specialized hitches in around 20 of the 520 focuses enlisted to have the 2016 UTME on the Computer Based Test stage across the country.

He said: "I need to say that we are attempting endeavors to think of new choice strategy and endorsement of the focuses we should be utilizing for the behavior of our examination consequently.

"We should be considering utilizing a greater amount of open possessed focuses and a couple composed exclusive focuses.

"From measurements accessible to us, we have found that the vast majority of the issues we had with focuses amid the examination were connected with those with private concerns."

While communicating the board's disappointment over the specialized issue, Benjamin, in any case, said he was cheerful that the behavior of the examination was by and large fruitful.

He noticed that more than 1.6 million applicants sat for the examination inside and outside the nation.
