Donald Trump won by losing Ohio.

That is the thing that Princeton neuroscientist Sam Wang told a group Wednesday at Northern Kentucky University.

Wang has earned a notoriety since 2004 for foreseeing presidential decisions in light of math, including coming quite close to the accurate 2008 presidential race results.

Taking into account his numbers, Trump is in an ideal situation since Ohio Gov. John Kasich won Ohio's Republican presidential essential Tuesday. That is on account of Trump charges better in a three-manner race than no holds barred, Wang said.

"In the event that you are in the gathering of people and are an Ohio voter who voted in the Republican essential and voted in favor of Kasich, in a roundabout way, you voted to bolster Donald Trump," Wang said. "How can it feel?"

Trump's disagreeability, at short 30 or more in a few surveys, would make it hard for him to get a larger part of agents no holds barred with Ted Cruz, he said. Kasich's and Marco Rubio's representatives would likely go to Cruz.

"Trump is really disliked," Wang said. "He's less prevalent than Ted Cruz."

Truth be told, to stop Trump, Kasich ought to quit crusading in a few states, Wang said.

Politically that may appear to be ridiculous, But scientifically, it isn't, Wang said.

Kasich ought to maintain a strategic distance from states where the victor takes all or the greater part of the agents, he said. That could mean Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Trump would part designates, giving Kasich a chance at a challenged tradition in July.

"He ought to hang back and let Cruz take every one of the punches," Wang said.

Wang put Trump's chances of getting the GOP assignment at 90%.
